Block out the Hate is the first record that I produced where I sampled directly from a vinyl record. The process add more color to the record in my opinion. This is also one of the first records I've completed the entire process on in a while which, I normally handle most of creation process anyway but recently have began to mix my own records again. I've started working with a few other artists and they weren't pleased with the mixes they were getting from the engineers they'd worked with so I told them I'd give it a shot. I have about 4 years of engineer experience however, that was a long time ago. Seems, that the skill didn't falter too much in my lack of use and I know overtime I will only get better.
